As you might have guessed, this one is getting filed under the “Thoughts” category, and it’s going to be an article of entirely my opinion, with no music.

Ah yes, it’s always a good day when Michal Menert puts something up on SoundCloud, new or not. Today Menert dropped a few hip-hop instrumentals and man, this whole mix is tasty. Mellow out and try not to get too anxious about his next release… which is finally coming out April 24th!
I’ve got some of that space bass for you today, LabRat throws down some heavy basslines mixed in with a bit of a trance synth sound, and it makes something you can definitely move to. Show some love with a share and download.
Shout out to Dustin for the recommendation, this track brings a fun glitch sound that isn’t too heavy and is more focused on getting that head bobbing. Quite different from the heavier tracks I’ve been posting lately. Show some love if this is your style.
Maybe it’s the Clapton fan in me, but I thought this mix of hard electro/glitch and his classic vocals was pretty good. Definitely have to be careful mixing the classics, but I’m easily pleased, and I though you might dig this one as well.
A fantastic “preview” mix by Minnesota, who’s been on a roll recently (IMO). If you enjoyed his recent Fenech Soler remix, you’ll definitely dig this, as it features a multitude of upcoming tracks and a Biggie remix. Show love.
I know a lot of you (myself included!) really enjoyed Bird Peterson’s Birdland Volume 1 mix. He’s back today with a decidedly different sound, but I think you’re going to enjoy it. There’s a hint of Peterson’s hip-hop style in this mix, but it’s also composed of some hard electro, so take the journey and show some love if you enjoyed it.
I’ve got another R/D remix for you today, throwing down on a Vibesquad original with his signature heavy sound. Very different pace from his Hollywood remix, but some are going to love this. Enjoy, and as always, show some love.
