Big shoutout to Chase for the recommendation on this group, The Trickaz are putting out some fire, how have I not had the pleasure of tuning into this before?! If you haven’t heard of this crew yet, allow me to do both of us a favor.
Another scrumptious selection of random tracks I find adventuring on the musical side of the internet (one of the few sides worth exploring). As always for these mix posts, the variety varies greatly, so check them out and show some love if you dig it.
I’ve already featured a pair of the Anthems of the Hero mixes on here before, those being the Heart Anthem Cryptex Remix and the Heart Anthem kLL sMTH Remix. Today I’m bringing you the rest of the current offering, including tracks from Minnesota and Ben Samples, both whom I’ve featured before. Enjoy this mix and be sure to check back for more.
I really love the places this tracks goes, and dat guitar… it’s tough to incorporate the guitar into electronic music (in my opinion), but this just works so well. Show Outlet some love for this excellent remix.
I am not too fond of DNB… in fact I barely listen to it. That’s why when I actually enjoyed Phase’s DNB tracks (and a chillstep tune I found), I figured I had to share. Not your usual sound for drum n’ bass, but in my opinion, really enjoyable (and all 3 are up for free, so show some love).
This is some space bass here, a really eclectic style that’s soaked in melodies. Not for everybody, but some of you are going to love this one. Check it out and show that download some love if you’re feeling it.
So let’s be honest here… I messed up Follow Friday by not being able to keep a damn schedule (I could tell you I’m busy, and it’s true, but still not an excuse). The thing is, I really do listen to so many tracks that I’m unable to get them posted…
Instead of being restricted to a posting schedule and other limitations (I was going for 7 tracks before, which was too many to prepare), I’m going to start with a few “Mix Love” posts, which are a random sampling of stuff I’ve been enjoying recently. Hope you like the first round of tracks.
Since my post on his Street Bangerz albums was so well recieved by you all, I figured a few folks out there would appreciate a recap of Gramatik’s 2010 release known as “No Shortcuts”. Quality stuff all the way through (big surprise), definitely worth checking out and picking up. Back to that new music on Monday!
Gramatik has posted a link to access the album if you don’t mind wearing an eyepatch and carrying a parrot around on your shoulder… you can find it here.
A lot of you (myself included) were big fans of Gonzo’s miscellaneous tracks on SoundCloud. Luckily, we get a second helping today with a full EP, I’ve got two songs featured above (in full, the tracks are generally short but sweet), if it fits your vibe, download the whole thing for free and show a little love for Gonzo’s excellent release.
How dare I post yet another Heart Anthem remix this month you say? Wait until you hear it. Cryptex, whom you might know from The Glitch Anthem, is back with an absolute beast. Bump this one loud and enjoy the free download!
