Far and away one of the most original mashup/remixes I’ve heard yet! Takes the “Cantina” music from Star Wars, and mashes it up into something quite unique. Big respect for Mikey Thunder doing something totally off the wall like this, really enjoyed it.
Although I already covered a track from the “Set EP”, this one deserves a post as well. If you didn’t already check out the sick sound of the “Set Pt. I” track, do so now. An original track from KillaGraham, who I featured on here before for his “I’m On One” dubstep remix. Glad to see another original track on his SoundCloud, definitely brings a lot of energy to everything he releases, and this one is no exception. Up for free since he passed a recent goal of Facebook fans, so enjoy.
A dubstep remix of Drake’s “Take Care”, with a heavy emphasis on Rihanna’s vocals over Drake’s lyrics. Interesting take, and a good listen for fans of dubstep who also dabble in popular sound now and then. Also up for free, so enjoy.
Really chill “Technologic” mashup from Karate, whom I featured before when I posted about their self titled “Karate EP” a while back. I like the mellow take on this former dance track, although to be quite honest I’m not sure of the track they are using in this mashup, perhaps an original mix? Either way, up for free, so enjoy!

Bonus Mix!
Speaking of Ronald Jenkees… here is that new track that I mentioned he dropped last month. It’s a project with Patrick Watson, and it’s definitely an upbeat electronica track that includes a lot of experimentation. If you enjoy the “freestyle” sound of Jenkees, with unpredictable and complex melodies, you’ll likely enjoy this track.
I’ve been wanting to post about Jenkees since I started this blog, but since he hasn’t released anything new besides a single last month, it’s been hard to talk about the guy! (He does release preview clips of his next album on SoundCloud)

Really excited to be doing this interview today, since R/D’s “Bay Crush” EP is releasing today too (available… right now!).

I always liked the original version of this track, so when Iowno sent me the remix I knew I had to check it out real quick. I was surprised at how he incorporated the samples, and I definitely enjoyed it, it’s a sick glitch take on a solid hip-hop song.
